NMB Grants United an Extension for Responding to IAM Interference Charges

Date: July 28, 2011
Type: AFA Article

On Thursday, July 28 United Airlines management requested an additional extension in filing their response to the National Mediation Board (NMB) regarding the IAM allegations of interference in the recent Flight Attendant representation election. That request has been granted by the NMB and a new deadline set of 1600 Friday, August 5, 2011.

The Association of Flight Attendants will submit our response to these allegations at the same time as the company. To be clear, the process is being delayed by United management, not AFA.
