LECP Letter to SEA Domicile Manager

Sent by FAX December 8, 2006

Dear Ann,

You have always been willing to listen our concerns about quality of life issues for both the current and former Seattle Flight Attendants. A system wide effort is  underway to acquire “reciprocal cabin seat agreements” with other carriers around the world for United Flight Attendants.

"With loss of aircraft capacity since 2001, seats and jump seats are at a premium and we need your help."

Flight Attendants are commuting to work more and more in an attempt to “chase the flying” (and money) to offset some of the income lost to bankruptcy concessions. With loss of aircraft capacity since 2001, seats and jump seats are at a premium and we need your help.

AFA is aware of several carriers who are willing to enter into talks with United management to reach “reciprocal” agreements. Please join with us in our effort to improve morale by providing more commuting opportunities for AFA Members and your frontline employees  --  Flight Attendants.

Thank you in advance for support and efforts on our behalf,

Sincerely,

Diane Tucker
Council 10 President
