Pass Travel Problems

Date: March 14, 2012
Type: AFA Article

Many pass travel issues have come up with the implementation of SHARES(tm).  Pass travel is governed by company policy, however AFA has been monitoring the various issues that have come up and is advocating for swift resolution from the company.

Problems associated with Interline tickets, pass travel not being "e-ticketed", incorrect taxes deducted for pass travel, are just a few of the issues that we are hearing about.

Many of us commute, so these problems are not just about leisure travel, but about getting to work and being a reliable employee. Pass travel issues should be written up to the company (pass travel department and base manager) at etc@united.com and make sure to copy in AFA. The March 5 United Daily lists the following phone numbers you may use to contact the Employee Travel Center: 713-324-PASS (7277)  or 866- FLY-EPAS (359-3727) for questions or problems related to pass travel.

For more information please see the “Travel” tab on the company website, Flying Together. For questions, please email the Employee Travel Center at etc@united.com.
