The joint CAL, CMI and UAL Master Executive Councils (MEC) met together last week to discuss our negotiations strategy moving forward. At this meeting, there were extensive discussions of the status of our negotiations for a joint collective bargaining agreement, the process of negotiations under the Railway Labor Act, and the strategy for successfully concluding our negotiations. The joint MEC unanimously adopted the following resolution, calling for an intensive mobilization and education campaign, including information about the Railway Labor Act, the right to strike and AFA's CHAOS™ strike strategy.
