You may recall, at the end of last year, we launched the new Memberlink and Grievance Portal on our MEC website. If you have not already registered your account, please do so as soon as possible. This will ensure you are able to file reports and ensure your correct contact information is always on file with the Union.

The United AFA Membership and Grievance Database system can be accessed through a designated portal known as Memberlink. You can find the link to Memberlink on the home page of our United MEC website at www.unitedafa.org.

The United AFA Membership
and Grievance Database System
can be accessed through a designated portal known as Memberlink.

If you have not already registered your account, please do so as soon as possible. This will ensure you are able to file reports and ensure your correct contact information is always on file with the Union.

You can find the link to Memberlink
on the home page of our United MEC website at www.unitedafa.org

Upon your first visit to the site, you will need to click Sign Up Now. During the signup process, you must provide your employee number, leaving out the "U" and any leading zeros. For example, if your employee number is u001234, you should enter only 1234 to begin the validation process for setting up your account. Additionally, you'll be required to provide a personal email address since corporate or united.com addresses are not accepted.

Once you submit your details, you'll receive an authentication email that will be valid for one hour. In case you don't receive the email within ten (10) minutes, please check your spam folder. Click on the verification link in the email, and you will be redirected to the new site.

After successfully setting up your account, you can verify and provide the Union with your preferred contact information, including your address, telephone number(s), and email address. It's essential to note that this site is exclusively for Union use, and the contact information provided will not be shared with the company or used to report address changes to United management. Any updates to your contact information will undergo a manual verification process before being saved, so changes won't appear immediately.

If you wish to use an international address or phone number, please utilize the "Additional Comments" field to input your data so that we can ensure its correctly entered into the system according to the address and phone field format of your country of residence.

On the home page, you will find a link to file a new Local Council Worksheet. Additionally, you can track the status of any current or past cases via the "My Profile" link located on the landing page.

  • For now, please continue to submit the following reports through the provided link on our website at https://unitedafa.org/reports/: Hotel & Transportation, Call Wait Times, Professional Standards, General Incident, Marginal Service & Staffing, Safety, and Uniforms.

If you encounter any difficulties while establishing your Memberlink account, you can reach out to us by writing to memberlink@unitedafa.org or calling 800 624 3907 X522.
