Miller Amendment House Vote Results
On Friday, June 24, 2005, the House of Representatives passed an amendment introduced by Representative George Miller to an appropriations bill, HR 3010 prohibiting the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) from spending funds on the termination of pension plans. If adopted by the Senate and passed into law, termination of our pension plan would be stopped.
