MAR 14 - As we reported last week, CQ rebalancing continues with Flight Attendant hiring. The CQ due month bidding opens today, March 14, 2023 and affects Flight Attendants based at EWR, IAD, ORD, LAX & SFO who are at or junior to a designated seniority level and who have CQ due months in October 2023 & November 2023. In addition to bidding to retain their current CQ due month, affected Flight Attendants will be able to select months earlier in year, specifically May 2023, June 2023, July 2023, August 2023 or September 2023.

MAR 9 - Don’t forget to set your clocks forward one hour on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at 0200 in observance of the change to daylight saving time in the United States.
MAR 8 - Heads up if you're flying out of Dallas Love Field on Thursday – hundreds of Southwest Airlines flight attendants will stage an informational picket outside the airport.The picket is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. in the airport's valet drop-off area outside. Those picketing are off-duty employees who were already scheduled off work on Thursday so travelers should not expect travel disruptions.
MAR 8 - While Delta pilots have signed a new contract and American pilots appear to be moving quickly towards one, United pilots appear to be lagging. “We are not close,” Garth Thompson, chair of the United chapter of the Air Line Pilots Association, wrote in a letter to pilots on Thursday. ALPA represents 14,000 United pilots. “Executive comments imply that our proposal and your union representation are overreaching and unreasonable,” he wrote.
