On April 1, 2019 the United AFA Government Affairs volunteers began their annual FlightPAC drive across the system. The drive was a huge success. While the contribution commitment forms continue to be mailed to AFA, we can initially report a 25% increase in annual contributions from Members from last year.

FlightPAC is our Political Action Committee. This PAC enables us to lobby our elected government leadership and to back the candidates who support Flight Attendant issues. While our needs and issues are ever changing, we have had great success with changing a number of provisions to our benefit.  Examples include the language of Family Medical Leave to include Flight Attendants (Technical Corrections Act), gaining equal access to Known Crew Member, keeping knives off of planes, and working to ensure proper secondary barriers are installed on all commercial aircraft are but a few.

Although this most recent FlightPAC drive has concluded, Members can make a contribution at any time by filling out the FlightPAC Form  and returning it to your Local Council Representatives.

We want to recognize and express our appreciation to all the volunteers and contributing Members who made the FlightPAC 2019 drive such a great success.
