United Airlines customers at O’Hare and other airports nationwide took to social media Tuesday morning to complain computer issues were causing delays and boarding problems.

In an emailed statement, the Chicago-based airline said: “We experienced an issue with our system earlier. We are working to resolve this and apologize to our customers for any inconvenience.”

United did not elaborate on the issue or say whether it had been fixed as of 10 a.m.

The problem appeared to be nationwide. Denver airport officials confirmed the computer problems and delays around 7:45 a.m., according to Colorado news station Fox 31.

United customers at O’Hare, Dulles and Los Angeles airports complained of the computer issues on Twitter.

“Well, this is grand. All @united computers and systems down,” @leeleechicago tweeted from O’Hare about 9 a.m.

Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins tweeted, “Haha-now all of @united computers are acting up at GR airport so we can’t print our boarding passes to get thru security.”
