Due to the heavy flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey United has made the decision to declare an “Adverse Conditions Day – Facility closed.”  At this time IAH operations and facilities are closed for today, August 27 until at least 1200 Thursday, August 31, 2017. 

 Because of this status, employees who are scheduled to work out of IAH should not report to work at this time. 

Status updates are also being posted to CCS and Unimatic regarding scheduling. As of now, all mainline flying is cancelled for Monday - with only select domestic and international flights operating in the afternoon. Due to high call volumes and IRROPS, we’re asking that all crews who do not have an operationally critical issue to call the Scheduling desk at a later time. 

This is a fast moving situation and we encourage you to continue to monitor updates from Inflight and the company. It is extremely important that all employees stay safe and continue to make the best decisions for themselves and their families.
