As of 7:00pm CT on August 5, 2017, Limited Critical Coverage has been declared for DCA, EWR, IAH and ORD for Sunday, August 6, 2017.
Under the scheduling provisions of Section 9.J.3. of the pmUA Collective Bargaining Agreement, Limited Critical Coverage is a scheduling option available to management in times of anticipated coverage shortages. Limited Critical Coverage differs from Critical Cover in that lineholders are not required to be available for the two-hour standby period.
After the Limited Critical Coverage is announced, pmUA Flight Attendants who pick up trips via open flying after 7:00 pm on Saturday, August 5th that begin during the announced period on Sunday, August 6th will be compensated at 1.5 times his/her rate of pay. You must fly the trip to be paid the incentive.
