Schedule Reductions Evident in June Bid Packet

Date: May 13, 2020
Type: AFA Article

We published information on the development of the June Schedule and the impact the reduced aircraft schedule has had on the suspension of flying at several domicile & satellite locations. While clearly not the best set of circumstances for any of us, all of us have the 71-hour income protection afforded by our Contract and, in particular, the provisions of Section 4.C.3.

Yesterday, line statistics were released for the system further demonstrating the significant reduction to block hours.   Operating approximately 10% of our pre-COVID aircraft schedule results in a further reduction in lineholder positions for June and additional Reserve coverage.

We anticipate additional information on the development of the June schedules will be available tomorrow on our website in the report from our Central Schedule Committee.
