MEC Hotel and Transportation Committee

It has been one month since the introduction of our new Hotel & Transportation, “Travel-Log” replacement system for reporting Hotel and Crew Transportation issues and concerns.

Our MEC Hotel and Transportation Committee has taken on the additional responsibility to address issues arising with the company’s hotel & transportation vendors. Working with United management and the various company vendors, it is our intent to resolve issues and get back to you letting you know the outcome of our discussion on the various subjects.

Since October 1st of this year, we have received 201 reports of hotel and transportation issue to which we have provided direct answers to the authors of 108 Reports. We are awaiting responses from either the hotel or transportation vendor to the remaining 93 reports. Once we receive this additional information, we will provide additional responses to the authors who provided these reports.

We have received many very positive comments from our Members who have expressed appreciation for the direct interaction with the MEC Hotel & Transportation Committee through this new system.

We encourage you to use this new avenue that will replace the old TVLLOG System in Unimatic and the Hotel Form on CCS as well as the less used United Voices for reporting these issues.
