Bidding for Voluntary Furlough has closed and United has received 1,233 bids.  Work is underway to continue to review bids submitted and the results of the Partnership Flying bids which will close at 0800 on December 20, 2012 before finalizing the Voluntary Furlough award.  The Partnership Flying Program was negotiated by AFA in an effort to further reduce the need for involuntary furloughs.  Many of our flying partners have taken advantage of the flexibility of the program and helped save the jobs of others who might have been impacted by an involuntary furlough.
