Partnership Flying Program Bidding Closes July 23 at 0800
The Partnership Flying Program was negotiated by AFA in an effort to further reduce the need for involuntary furloughs. Since the time it was negotiated we have not had cause to use it. Today, however, it is an additional option for saving jobs. The company may offer cost-neutral partnership flying in bases with an overage of Flight Attendants. Bidding for the program closes on Thursday, July 23 at 0800 Chicago time. In our Furlough Information Center there is a direct link to submit your bid for the Partnership Program. If offered, the duration of the Partnership would be in increments of six months. The Partnership Program will be awarded by 1700 on July 23rd and before the announcement of an involuntary furlough.
