In the month of December to celebrate the holiday season, Flight Attendants may wear a festive accessory that is in good taste and does not detract from our professional image as Safety Professionals.  

The company updated its guidelines this year to include holiday accessories that are colorful and festive while the general guidelines of appearance regulations remain in effect.  For example, Flight Attendants may wear holiday earrings, but they should still follow the jewelry guidelines which establish earrings should be no more than 1 inch in length.

In addition, regulations provide we may wear the following festive accessories during the week leading up to the holiday and the day of the holiday:

• Socks
• Scarves
• Pins
• Themed jewelry, including light-up necklaces
• Headwear and hair accessories

Regulations provide that festive scarves and ties can replace our traditional uniform scarves and ties during this limited time period.
