We had another successful year in the granting of Christmas Wish List (CWL) requests for Reserves. It’s important we recognize a number of people behind the scenes who made the granting of these requests possible. We should start by acknowledging the work of our AFA Communications Director – Christopher Lee. On short notice, Chris stepped in to assist us in getting the system we used to collect data up and running. We’re all really grateful for his work.
In addition, we must acknowledge the hard work and commitment of the Crew Scheduling personnel who manually reviewed and assigned the Christmas Wish List requests that were granted system-wide. As is our practice, the following is a breakdown of the CWL requests awarded by location.
Base | Awards | Base | Awards |
BOS | 14 | IAH | 64 |
DEN | 30 | LAX | 24 |
EWR | 127 | LHR | 7 |
FRA | 1 | ORD | 97 |
IAD | 32 | SFO | 70 |
Keep in mind, because Christmas Wish List is limited to evaluating layovers only, those locations with a higher percentage of turns assigned will not see as many Christmas Wish Lists awarded.
