MEC Safety, Health & Security Committee

Flight Attendants with scheduled layovers in Port of Spain (POS) should be aware of a recent change to Liquids, Aerosols, and Gels (LAGs) screening for flight crews departing Port of Spain.

Generally speaking, working crewmembers both domestically and internationally, are exempt from these TSA LGA restrictions. However, crewmembers flying to or from international locations may be subject to additional restrictions by the host government.  Until further notice, when departing Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago all crew members must adherer to the LAG restrictions (3-1-1) and will not receive exemptions from LAG screening.

Questions should be directed to your local Health, Safety & Security Committee.
