We know that we’ve been repeatedly hammering home the message that we need you to make calls to your representatives in Congress and we understand the repetitive nature of our request.  Further, we understand you’ve been doing what we’ve been asking you to do.  However, we simply cannot at this point lose the momentum that we’ve been building through our concerted efforts.  

Our careers are on the line as well as the economy of the communities in which we live and work.  The issue has not yet come to full attention in the Senate and we must work to overcome the objections of those who simply do not understand the plight of working Americans who rely on their paychecks to make ends meet as well as the benefits they derive from employment to care for their families.

Please – we’re counting on you to make the calls and send the letters to Congress letting your representatives know that we’re counting on them to support all of us during this difficult time.
