As efforts continue in Japan to restore power to the Fukushima power plant, we remain in contact with United, all related government agencies, including the FAA who continues to report that flying into the region remains safe.  The FAA Command Center has informed us that the situation continues to be safe in Narita.  We have also been informed that radiation detectors in Tokyo show normal readings.

We continue our advocacy on ensuring the safety and well being of our Members on layover including finding alternative layover locations in Narita.  As this situation continues to evolve, we will continue to keep you informed of updates and always protect your safety and health.
