6.1 Magnitude Earthquake Shakes Oaxaca Mexico

A 6.1 magnitude earthquake shook southern Mexico this morning Saturday, September 23, 2017, rattling a country still coping with the devastation from the earthquake that hit Mexico City last week. This earthquake was located further south in Oaxaca.

 

Current reports indicate that no additional significant damage has occurred in MEX. Inflight has advised that there was no additional damage done to the crew hotel. Wellness checks were completed and all Flight Attendants are all accounted for. There is no expected operational impact at this time.
