We will Never Forget September 11, 2001. The passengers, pilots & other fellow employees and the Flight Attendants onboard those flights will forever be our heroes, and their memories will always bring an extraordinary meaning to the 11th day of September. This year marks the 17th year of Remembrance of the events of that fateful September 11, 2001 morning.
In remembrance, Memorial ceremonies will be conducted at locations across our nation. Your MEC Officers along with many United Flight Attendants, friends & family of those whose lives were lost that day will attend these events around the system and we encourage you to be part of a ceremony in your area. If you aren’t able to be part of a local Memorial service, simply take a moment of silence in honor of our heroes in aviation as well as those first responders and those touched by the tragedy of September 11, 2001.
